We Have A Date!

After 18 months, lots of waiting and nail-biting, extended patience turned frustration with Nashville DCS...we have finally been given a date that we will finalize the adoption of Eric Robert Miller.  The finalization hearing will be held Friday April, 8 at 9am at the Rutherford County Circuit Court.  Rutherford county is quite informal with these procedings.  They will be held in the judge's chambers, with grandparents and close friends in attendance.  Video and cameras are allowed, and after the procedings the judge will pose for pictures.  Although there has been much frustration along the way, we feel truly blessed that this day is finally in sight.

It has been said that we have neglected to post any pictures from the annual Thanksgiving visit we receive from Tom, Lynn, John, and Lisa.  We actually took very few pictures this past year, so here is one of them...

We should hear this week what the court date will be for finalization of the adoption!  Then, we will have the biggest party ever!
